lThe multifaceted Manolo Mongil known now as MOONHILL, has transcended through a long career as a singer, songwriter and is the former singer of Top Banana, one of Puerto Rico’s most popular bands which was the first band from Puerto Rico and only the second to receive a recording contract from CBS (Today SONY).In 1999, he performed “Si Te Vas” of Top Banana’s full length record “Civilización” the winning song for Billboard’s Song Contest, winning as best performer, best arrangement and interpretation as well as 5 additional songs that made it to the “Top Ten” best songs.He made song “Esperame”, hit the number one song in PR for three consecutive months during the time Top Banana was recording for the famed record label TH Rodven.
